Our 150th Supplement

A series of commemorative supplements will be produced in association with leading regional newspaper and magazine publishers throughout the year. Sheffield Trump Cards

A special edition deck of cards featuring Sheffield city and its region, numerous personalities and land marks was produced in November 2006.  The pack of 36 cards became the must-have corporate gift finding their way to the far reaches of the globe as well as a bestselling gift through Waterstones, HMV, WHSmith and many local retailers over the Christmas period.

Commemorative Sterling Silver Coins

The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce are producing a limited edition, commemorative coin with assistance from the Sheffield Assay Office.  Produced using 'lustre silver' - the new non-tarnishing sterling silver - the coins will feature a unique hallmark with the original "coat of arms" of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce & Manufacturing from the 19th century on the one side and the new Sheffield Chamber logo branding, launched in 2007 to coincide with the 150th celebrations, on the reverse side. 

There is a limited production of just 150 coins, with only a few coins - each complete with a presentation box - available for sale through the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.

Sheffield Monopoly

The beginning of March saw the announcement that Sheffield had beaten off several other cities in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire (Lincoln, Leeds and York) to land its very own city edition Monopoly.  The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and its 150th celebrations were key to the decision and we took a lead role in making the board game a reality and available in the shops from this September.  You can pick up your set of Sheffield Monopoly at high street retailers including WH Smiths, HMV and Tesco.

There will also be a special limited edition set of 2007 board games with 150th anniversary branding made available at the end of September.  Each of the 2007 sets features unique our150th anniversary branding together with a letter stating the number of the limited edition set.  These can only be ordered through the Sheffield Chamber online webstore by clikcing here (please note limited edition sets will only appear around mid-October when they are available)
