The our150th dinner was the main commemorative dinner for the 150th anniversary celebrations following the theme of celebrating 150 years of business and football in Sheffield. Guest speakers include one of the most famous football players of all time, Sir Bobby Charlton, plus entertainment from Sheffield's own international music superstars such as Paul Carrack and his band, renowned for bringing a little soul to artists as diverse as Mike + The Mechanics, Nick Lowe and Squeeze.View Picture Gallery
The our150th exhibition mapped out 150 years of football and business achievements in Sheffield and around the world showing Sheffield FC’s unique and important role in football and the key landmarks of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and its members in the business world. Several thousand visitors viewed contributions and exhibits from Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Sheffield & Hallamshire FA, Yorkshire Film Archive, Picture Sheffield and Kelham Island Museum which stayed open an extra day due to popular demand ! The all-ticket clash with Rangers reserves forms part of the joint our150th anniversary celebrations of Sheffield FC and the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. It will be the Scottish giants' first ever visit to the Bright Finance Stadium and supporters are advised to purchase tickets quickly as they will be sold on a first come first served basis.
