Sheffield FC anniversay shirts go on sale

The 150th anniversary football shirts of the first club in the world have gone on sale.

Sheffield FC’s 2007 home and away replica shirts are available to buy now online or from the club’s Bright Finance Stadium.

The two-tone red home shirt and blue away shirt will be worn by the club throughout their 150th anniversary season and were seen for the first time in the UK during their 5-0 pre-season friendly win against Doncaster Rovers reserves on July 12.

As well as Sheffield FC’s two senior teams, the special edition shirts will be worn by the club’s nine junior teams, one women’s team and the disability team.

Chairman Richard Timms said: “The new shirts are a fantastic souvenir of the oldest football club in the world as we prepare to enter our 150th season.”
