A host of sporting stars from Sheffield are set to attend a once in a lifetime birthday party!
The joint our150th dinner of Sheffield FC and Sheffield Chamber of Commerce on May 17 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre is expected to attract more than 1,000 guests.
Key speakers will be former England World Cup winner Sir Bobby Charlton, Sports Minister Richard Caborn and Roy Hattersley, with Paul Carrack performing live. Boxing coach Brendan Ingle, football legend Derek Dooley, Ice Hockey star Ron Shudra and former England international Tony Currie have also agreed to attend to mark the 150th anniversaries of the world’s oldest football club Sheffield FC and the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
