Sheffield FC has entered the digital age by setting up its very own blog!

Chairman Richard Tims is writing a regular blog on the club’s 150th season and the general issues affecting the world of football.

It will be a unique and personal insight into Sheffield FC’s anniversary this year and the life of the chairman from the world’s first football club.

Readers will also be able to discuss with Richard on everything about the beautiful game, with a comments section available for responses on the blog.

Richard said: “We hope it will become a virtual debating platform for all things football.

“It will build the profile of Sheffield FC on a world-wide scale, while marking a unique moment in the history of the oldest football club in the world.”

The blog, a web based written column or personal diary, is being run in partnership with Sheffield Newspapers and blogstoday.co.uk. It is set to continue throughout the club’s 2007/08 season.
